Atelier Veldwerk

The second agenda, complited in July 2004, after the transfer of political power from allied troops to the Iraqi government, painted a different picture. It was published within the VPRO TV Guide (Dutch National Television). Cultural life had diminished considerably, with many cultural sites destroyed or closed. Television and video in general filled the void, including the production of ’soaps’, predominantly comic in their content.

2004 اجندة بغداد  الثق
الأجندة الثانية نشرت في شهر نوفمبر من سنة 2004 بعد احتلال القوات الأمريكية للعراق وسقوط النظام العراقي . وقد نشرت الأجندة في مجلة التلفزيون الهولندية . بعد ذلك تغيرت أمور كثيرة حيث أغلقت بعض أو هدمت

The first ‘agenda’ was printed in 2003, as a ‘double page spread’ in a January edition of the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant, just two months before the Allied bombardment of the city. With help from many Iraqi sources the ‘agenda’ pieced together, in a form never before seen, a one month overview of cultural events within and around the city, spanning theatre, music, cinema and the visual arts. It gave western readers a completely different perspective of life within the city at the time.

اجندة العراق الثقافية 2003
الأجندة الأولى طبعت عام 2003 في منتصف يناير ونشرت في واحدة من اهم الصحف الهولندية هي جريدة الشعب وبالضبط قبل شهرين من قصف بغداد . وبكثير من المساعدة التي حصلنا عليها من المصادر العراقية وخلال شهرين تم انجاز الأجندة التي غطت الكثير من الأنشطة الثقافية في مدينة بغداد مثل السينما والموسيقى والمعارض التشكيلية والأدب
